Hi
Does anyone know of a way to check a large amount of search engines at once to find the position of your site for particular key words.
I have found searchy, www.searchy.co.uk which allows you to search a list of engines at one time but it can be quite hard to find your listing as not all results have the name of the site underneath.

I have recently started using Internet Business Promoter, which was on the DVD version of Personal Computer World recently. You can get it free from http://www.axandra.com.
I'm still learning how to use it but it appears pretty thorough to me.

I'd also recommend WebCEO. The free version (not trial, but actually free to use) offers a lot of functionality including the ability to check keyword rankings for multiple search engines.
For additional analysis on why a site ranks the way it does (including your competitors) then you really need something like SEO Elite (http://snipurl.com/SEO_Elite).

I use Webposition which is the accepted standard. It is very good indeed, but quite pricey if you are only going to be using just for your own site - you can read about it herehttp://www.webposition.com/product/default.asp.
I have not tried any of the freeware, but if it will do what you need...
