Hi Peeps

Anybody any idea how you incorporate dollar purchases into accounts?

I have a couple of small purchases from the states for $49 and $75 and need to log them, can/do you convert to the exchange rate of the day? What if you don't know the ER?

Have purchased a couple of things for the business, using my personal visa card and would like to get my cash back in time to pay the bill.

Your personal visa card is in GBP?

Then you can just check your statement for the exchange rate used and any charges - they should display the final amount in GBP regardless.

You can then use this figure in your accounts.

Ahh, haven't had it yet so will check, I guess for any future bookwork inspections, keep a copy of the statement with my reciepts for that month to varify the transaction and costs involved.
