Just doing a little research.

What does (SMALL) at companies house mean?

E.G. Last Accounts Made Up To: 31/08/2003 (SMALL)

Does it mean turnover is less than a certain amount? if so what is that turnover?

Answer

To be a small company, at least 2 of the following conditions must be met:
annual turnover must be £5.6 million or less;
the balance sheet total must be £2.8 million or less;
the average number of employees must be 50 or fewer

Thanks for that.

Means the company I'm looking at is smaller than I thought
