Do I have a virus type thing???

:|Sorry to be very dense .... I do have a virus barrier ... but since yesterday every time I've clicked on any website (or pages within that website) .... I first go to a Google error page ... when I refresh ... all is ok ...

Would be very grateful for any advice.

A Google error page? Sure it's not just a standard web browser timeout or 404 page? If it's the latter then it's most likely just a temporary issue with your connection, try resetting your router (I should work on an IT Support helpline with that last comment!!)

This is probably due to a problem with the DNS servers that you are using. I had this problem and changed mine to use the ones at opendns.com and no more problems. You can change these on the router - or it you are using a DSL modem change them in your network connections set up
