Hi - We have just launched www.Blankspace.co.uk a unique online trading platform aimed exclusively at buyers and sellers of magazine advertising space. The site is designed along similar lines to the internationally acclaimed ebay, it allows any publication to sell advertising space by auction or buy it now prices. It can be used by anyone wishing to buy or sell advertising space, but is specifically designed to fill space in a hurry, and often at below market rates. Buyers can pre - register and receive email alerts when relevant adverts are posted on the site.

Hi Nick,
I like the idea and a brief look at the site looks clean. My only comment so far is that if I was bidding on some advertising space I would want to know what publication it was in, and the two ads I saw on there did not mention what the publication was.
After wasting a lot of money on wasted offline advertising I tend to be more picky these days :)

Thanks for looking at the site. Once you have registered you get to view all the publication details. When we researched the idea publishers wanted this barrier in place to ensure bidders were serious and traceable. Most of the adverts sold on the site will be on deadline so to speak so a smooth process is crucial hence the need for pre-registration. Some of the publications are also sensitive about the bargains that will appear on the site, so this entry level anonimity is crucial to them. Register and you can see everything.
