Im just wondering if there are other people ou there who use Tas Books 2? Eveyone i know seems to use Sage

I do - nowhere near as good a product as Tas Accounting Plus was (from the "pre-bought-out-by-Sage" days), but still more intuitive than Sage itself IMHO.

Yes, since 1999, and will continue until an Open Source solution is ready.
I'd not done bookkeeping until I started with TAS, so its inherent user friendliness, and the ease with which I could correct my early stupid mistakes made it ideal. Don't know what they are like now, but the manuals when I bought it were also excellent both in how to use the software and the basic principles of double entry.
It's generally true in the software world that what is ubiquitous is because of clever marketing rather than merit. People think "it must be good because everyone uses it". Not true.
