Hi all,

technology keeps marching on, and I can't keep up!

I need to create a flv flash video from about ten of my images. Basically a slideshow, simple fade transition. Nothing fancy, it just has to be .flv to work in my new website template.

You can see the size specs on www.chimeriquejewellery.com - the video needs to go in that horrible purple space!

I have Photoshop and really don't want to spend money on more software to do this, although if it isn't much then I will have to.

If anyone has any advice on how I can do this I'd be grateful.

Thanks.

Hi sparklyscotty,

Try using Windows Media Maker to create a .wmv file then convert it to .flv with Riva FLV Encoder or FLV Producer Lite. All free :)

I have tried something like this before, and settled for animated GIFs in the end. You can use GIMP for the GIFs - for free

Wow Roj - thanks! That was ridiculously simple, quick and easy. I have never used the Media features of my Vista because it is a Spanish PC, and I just never went back to explore the programs since I became more fluent in the language.

If anyone is interested, I used http://media-convert.com to convert the wmv file into a flash flv for free.

I will definatley be using this technique to make more slideshows for myself, and probably clients!

Thanks again, if you are ever looking for a gift for a female I will happily send you something at cost. Or if you need any writing done, just get in touch and I will be happy to help.

Angel
