Hi, my friend wants to establish a website for his favourite chinese idol (who is not famous in the UK!). does anyone have any ideas what he needs to do? Is there any rules, regulations, laws that he has to pay attention to? I havent got a clue :p Thanks

I built a few fan sites for footballers. I dont think there are any laws so long as you put in there its a fan site.
Photos you should make sure are free of copyright or atleast make it know the photo is courtesy of whoever.
Also any information you copy should be cited.
As for legalities if you start earning big bucks from it i would expect you to hear from the star so if you start earning a lot dont tell anyone online :)
