Ive just bought Sage instant business package which includes Instant Accounts, Act and payroll for £125 plus Vat.

I have no connection with the company i bought it off, it just seemed a good deal so though i would mention it in case anyones looking to buy.

That is a very good deal, instant is £99 on its own normally, for the benefit of others you ought to mention where you got it from :)

Don't forget that if you buy payroll with a Sage business package you need to keep the whole package up to date on their support plans just to keep the payroll up to date. People who have switched their payroll to us have told us that if you don't do this the payroll becomes useless after a PAYE year end since legislation constantly changes. The annual cost of the support and updates contract can be quite large, yet you don't really need the annual updates for the other software elements so basically many users end up buying the whole expensive support plan just to keep payroll up to date.

Thanks for that Tom. I didn't require payroll so this wont apply in my case.

It was getting Accounts and Act I was interested in it just so happens that payroll comes as part of the package. It still worked out cheaper for me to buy it this way and not use Payroll than to buy the other two as separate items.
