home collected credit

hi please can some one help
i have been a manager for a number of years with a very well known home collected company and i have vast experiance in the way it works
however i am thinking of starting up a home colledted credit buisness myself but i have no idea how to do this and more importantly whats involed
i do know i need a comsumer credit licence but where do i go from here
i have been told that i can just start up once i have the licence acting as a sole trader and that is all i need
please will some one advise me if this is the case and if not what more do i need
i will be lending money (my own)and then calling at houses weekly to collect the rates until loan and interest is paid up
