HiI has Vista home premium and installed windows server 2008. However, i would like to login to Vista. Can you please tell me how?

If you want to login to a Windows Server Domain you'll need the Business or Ultimate edition of Vista. You can get this thorugh Windows Anytime Upgrade in Control Panel. If you just want to access shared files you can set them on the server to be accessed by names user accounts, map them as drives on Vista and then enter username and password to access.
