Anyone who tweets will know all about the ultimate twitter citizen journalist, Janis Krums (@jkrums (http://www.twitter.com/jkrums)).

Long before the big media outlets had even broken the story, Janis captured the very first photograph of Flight 1549 after it was skilfully put down in the Hudson River, New York, by Captain Chelsey B “Sully” Sullenberger.

Since taking that phenomenal photograph (left) with his iPhone, Janis’s world has been turned upside down (http://www.janiskrums.com/jk_livin/). He’s done interviews with the BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/7834755.stm), CNN, ABC, Good Morning America and more.

I’m delighted to say Janis has agreed to take questions from followers of my blog (http://www.thirdsectorlab.co.uk), Third Sector Forums (http://www.thirdsectorforums.co.uk/) users and folks on twitter (http://www.twitter.com/). The best questions be posed to Janis and the full interview will be posted here and on my Sunday Mail blog (http://blogs.sundaymail.co.uk/thirdsectorlab/).

So what are you waiting for UKBFers…you can add your questions to the comments section of my blog, on this UKBF thread, on Third Sector Forums or you can fire them at me on twitter, just start your questions with: @ThirdSectorLab (http://www.twitter.com/thirdsectorlab)

I’ll be taking questions over the next 24hrs, right up until 20:30 GMT on 19th January 2009.UK Business Forums - Post New Thread (http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/forums/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=56)

Did stopping to take the photo, then stopping even longer to upload it onto twitter and post about it not take time - time that could maybe have been better spent helping the survivors first, asking the staff on the ferry how to help, where life jackets etc where etc before taking photos and uploading?

Or was it a case of there was nothing to do at that point, until the craft was in a position to offer help?

Secondly - is he kicking himself that he uploaded it to twitter, when he could have made a fortune selling it to the highest bidder?

The ferry wasn't at the plane yet when he took the photo on his iPhone, as soon as the ferry pulled up he gave his iPhone to a passenger and started rescuing people. There's a good interview here: http://mj.933flz.com/pages/mainfeed.html?feed=204719&article=4862780

Loving your second question, guess that's one only Janis can answer!

Any other question folks?
