Which SEO software

Hi Guys,
Having been running my website for a little more than 12 months part time, ive now decided to give it a bit more attention, add more variety of products etc and work on SEO.
I am thinking of attacking SEO from all angles, i.e Submit articles on high rank article sites, links on high rank link sites.
Ive seen some softwares like SEO Elite that say they do exactly that, but at a price tag of $167, i need some un-biased views.
Have anyone used it? or any other SEO software? all views welcome

Yes. I have had this software for a few years now. It is good for analysing competitors backlinks as well as other things. I also have Keyword Elite. I have individual pages that bring in 300 - 400 unique visitors each, because of this software.

Bare in mind though, that it might also be worth checking out the various free tools that are available.

i can make something some software for you if you tell me exactly what functions you want. but i would never recommend using pre-packaged software for seo... unless it is purely for accessibility & efficiency of code (which is good for onsite seo), an example of which is HTML Tidy. seo software is easily detected and by search engine software and your site can therefore easily get penalised
