www.webcopythatpeopleread.com (http://www.webcopythatpeopleread.com) <<< they've sent me a message on another forum! not sure what to make of it..seems a bit like a sales pitch but i thought it would be interesting for people to discuss and pull apart :)

Well, i'll start the discussion. I have had a look at the site and I think the writer is waffling.

In his article, 'what is readable copy', he uses the following sentence to describe a rake:

"when your garden needs action, this sturdy blue rake will tackle the job with ease, and its bright colour ensures you don’t lose it easily in the undergrowth!"

I would say:

"This is a rake, and I use it to tidy up the leaves".

But others may disagree?

'This is a rake, I use it to tidy up the leaves. It is blue for some stupid reason but at least it is well made. It might be easy to use, but I still have to do it, which is pretty crap really'

Too long ? ;)
