We try and recycle where possible but it seems that there is little encouragement for companies to recycle.

Are there any firms that collect paper/card waste free of charge?
Are there firms that will collect old toner cartriges?

What do you do with your re-usable waste?

Mike.

Action Aid charity will send you Freepost envelopes for your old toner cartridges:
http://www.actionaidrecycling.org.uk/

From their site: > "ActionAid Recycling reduce waste by collecting empty printer, photocopier and fax cartridges, and unwanted mobile phones; and reduce poverty by donating profits to ActionAid. To get involved simply phone 0845 - 3 100 200 and ask to register. We'll then send you a free storage box or freepost envelopes for returning inkjets or mobile phones."

Not sure about paper/card - some councils will collect this, so you could ask yours or try contacting your local Friends of the Earth?

It will soon be illegal to chuck your old IT equipment out with the rubbish. One of my clients recycles old IT kit, sometimes giving you a return on the junk. Contact www.maxitech.biz
