Yes, you heard it here first.
We are building a giant whoopee cushion which we think will be a World Record at 2 metres across and we are planning to use it to raise money for Comic Relief.
If anyone has any idea how we can get the most publicity from this cunning stunt I would love to hear it.

Sillyjokes,
If you let me know the area you are based in I will send across a short list of all the key media for you (FOC - as its for charity!) and contact details.
I think it will be a winner idea! Need a press release? (again FOC) *
*Just so i don't offend anyone FOC stands for 'free of charge'. Sorry to all the grannies who i accidentally just taught how to suck eggs!

Believe me, 2m is a big whoopee cushion - taller than a person standing!
Plus it was the widest latex I could get at short notice.
10Yeti's you are most kind. We are based in Northamptonshire although I am hoping to be able to get the little story to go national.

Slight update - we are going to be on ITV Anglia News either tonight or tomorrow and look out for us in the Towcester and Brackley Post newspaper.
Northampton Chron bloke couldn't come due to snow.
If you need any dressing up stuff for Comic Relief remember we are giving a percentage to that charity on red stuff from our site.

Woo Hoo! The cushion goes from strength to strength.
The official 'sitting' is going to be on Tuesday March 8th, 4pm at Silverstone Circuit
This should attract more media coverage because it is a proper event.
The news team from Radio 1's Chris Moyles Show are coming so that will help get other media along.
If you are in the area why not come along, bring your kids and see a World Record being made and maybe appear on TV (since I hope to get Anglia back and LookEast and, if I can, even go National).
If you want to help make a change in Africa and the UK sponsor the cushion or donate online at Red Nose Day

- don't be shy contact me via the website or of course donate online

I feel so proud and excited. We are creators of the world's biggest whoopee cushion - official!
We have a framed certificate and everything - it can go with our giant novelty cheques from the eCommerce awards last year.
It was an unbelievable moment which hopefully will be broadcast on Central tonight and Anglia TV Closer to Home tomorrow, plus will get mentioned in connection with the Chris Moyles Red Nose Rally.
Oh what a day, I'm shattered.
