Just had a call which was an answerphone, saying i could claim my bank charges back for the last 6 years. I know this is true and would like to do so but would like to know if they are legit.

Any ideas or experiences? www.claimsjustice.co.uk (http://www.claimsjustice.co.uk)

Anyone used any other companies. They say i need to pay a deposit of £29.99 for them to send out a pack. And i should get my claim resolved by Aril.

Please help.:)

Pay it, and you'll never see your money again.

Do the reclamation yourself - you don't need some snotty-nosed tele-sale monkey looking to screw you out of £30, potentially more, telling you how to do it!:)

I thought that all bank charge cases had been put on hold until the test course in court had been concluded.

There is a big court battle going on with the banks about this at the moment. I dont think any banks are refunding charges until it is sorted.

Read the above link for more info.

If you want to try and do it yourseld you dont need to pay anyone.

If you do a small claims court then it will just be put at the back of the queue...obviously if you do try a letter threatening legal action each individual bank my pay a percentage of ful amount being claimed for.

But with the legal process on hold, I would think they will not bother paying out at the moment as the court case may go with them.

How do you do it yourself? I dont have that account anymore and cant remember my account details. They said they could get access for me and do everything. I would rather do it myself. What do i need to do to claim, and how do i get hold of my old bank details and find out how many charges im owed?

Go to Martin Lewis' money website and there is a step by step claim procedure with a template of the letters you need to send.
