You need to work on seo to increase rankings which will inturn increase your hits. For the time being you could use PPC or launch an affiliate program, both you will need some knowledge of to avoid flushing money away.
I tend to shy away from sites that only accept Paypal, i have a merchant account with HSBC and use Protx to take payments. I don't use Paypal but get quite a few orders through Google Checkout.

PPC would be a good start but make sure you do your research first
Hope this helps

Yes, short term you would do well to sign up to Google Adwords and get some campaigns running. In the meantime you should either learn about seo and help your way up the rankings or pay someone that can do this for you (it's a steep learning curve).
Can you let us know your website address so that the people who know about this sort of thing can advise you regarding your specific website? You will get some fantastic free advice on this forum.

Can you share the URL for your site so we can all have a squiz?
Also, what have you already done by way of traffic building - link submission, requesting links, advertising, etc?

Thank you for all you comments my url is www . tmlangling . com.
The web company that built the site has linked me up with everyone on his link program and also i have my own links.
Have done a bit of advertising most my sales are on ebay.co.uk which i send a business card with the product to try and drive them to the web site instead.
I have not got a lot of products on web site at the moment hopefully will be able to build on products this year.
all the best mike

I'll not comment on your website specifically as there are better qualified people on here to do that.
I think your comment above is telling. People will not consistently visit your site if you do not have a large enough range of products. If you want people to consistently visit, then you need to give them a reason for doing so. You could do this by placing articles or useful information on your site (a good idea anyway) or you can build up your product range so that people think, 'I'll check the prices of TML Angling before I go anywhere else. They generally sell most products.'
Build up your product range and your content and with the addition of some good seo, which will be helped by your adding products anyway, you'll see your sales and traffic increase.
It's tough that you have to invest in products before you know you'll get traffic, but that's life I'm afraid. After all, you wouldn't open up a high street store and not stock it would you?

Be aware that while PPC is an effective way to get sales, only if its done properly, otherwise it can drain your funds.
You need to build links, post articles on Ezine and so on
