Hello All!

One of the posters mentioned the Entrepreneur channel, excoosh spelling if wrong, not important right now.

Got me thinking, how much and how difficult is it to get your own channel? Some do look somewhat obscure.

So here is the multi-zillion question, if there was a channel for small businesses, one that was energetic and basically fun to watch, would you want to be involved? It would be interesting to know the full cost and how much "membership" to a UK Business Forum TV channel would be.

I think someone on here posted the amounts required to even just reserve a slot on sky, it was at least 500,000 if I recall?

I think we're talking big money.

Unfortunatly Scott energetic and euntrupunear are words that turn the real business people away .Im keen on real issues that effect real business people .

I put my Ipod on in the mornings and go to the gym that motivates me After that Im a real Business person so I dont need TVchannels with Buzz words but I would like an honest business channel

Ive no idea how much it would cost to start a TV channel on sky but since the Business channel went off there could be a gap in the market for something similar.

I enjoyed the above at first but quickly got bored with all the repeats, after using sky + a couple of times and not recording the show that was advertised I soon gave up on it.

Would it be possible to start the channel on the net and grow from there?

I think you need a bond of £1 mill I think just to get started.

How about doing webcasts instead? More focused, cheaper and not lining someone else's pocket.Good luck.
