In this business relationship you will be working for either your self or your Ltd company and not MLB Enterprise Ltd.

The sales percentage is 10% of the gross sale value on the first sale and 5% on repeat sales for 12 months raising to 7.5% for following 6 months and 10% for the last 6 months, after the two years all sales commission for that customer will cease, unless the value of that business Account is good enough to maintain continued payments of commission. No activity logs will be required and there is no minimum limit of sales per month/year for the opportunity to remain available to you.

Construction Industry Scheme – CIS

The Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) sets out the rules for how payments to subcontractors for construction work must be handled by contractors in the construction industry.

The scheme applies mainly to contractors and subcontractors in mainstream construction work, however businesses or organisations whose core activity isn't construction but have a high annual spend on construction may also count as contractors and fall under the scheme.

Although all our invoices are subject to CIS tax arrangements, Agents commissions are professional fees and as such we do not deduct tax at source, All we require from you is an invoice, we can self invoice on your behalf if required.

Company Discount Scheme

This scheme is like the agent scheme but with the commission applied as a company discount, the discount is applied on the same bases as the agents agreement however the terms and conditions and legal requirements are different as the normal MLB Enterprise terms and conditions (http://www.mlb-enterprise.co.uk/Terms_Conditions.html) apply directly between us and you the customer.

Payments/Invoicing

Payments will be made after full remittance from the customer, Your invoice to MLB Enterprise Ltd can be sent after remittance is received from customer, an e-mail will be sent on the date of completion of the project and on receipt of payment or the project statues can be traced on-line using Project Software (http://mlb-enterprise.co.uk/project), access provided to you via our web site. Better the terms of payment with a customer's account the quicker commission can be paid.

Hi there

Just one thing I have noticed. You have put:

"You do not need to be self motivated or be a sales whiz"

Whereas you do not need to be a sales whiz, I would say you would need to have some grasp on sales to do this effectively. Not only that, being self-motivated would be quite important, otherwise, you'll have a scenario of having 20 agents on your books, generating the leads that only 5 agents should be making.

Other than that, a good presentation. Ironically, I'm looking into an agent-based way of generating new leads myself. Just make sure that you have covered all the legal holes regarding what the agent should or should not be doing i.e. can they be sacked if they mis-sell.

Other than that, best of luck with it all!

Max

Can't be a bad thing can it as agents working without a salary keeps your initial overheads down and UK Business Forums is a great place to raise awareneness! Has been for me anyway!

Morning Rod.

Just to avoid getting your hopes up, when I say I am considering lead generation I mean I have only started considering it this morning. The idea may not last past my lunchtime sandwich but I will get back to you if it does.

Thanks

Max

This was not aimed at sales professionals it was aimed in the first place to any one that has contacts within the market sector that our service would be of use. And potentially give these non-professional agents a reward for recommending MLB Enterprise Ltd, this could be to the level of paying for an holiday, second income of even as a first income for a sales professional.

We have been involved in contracts for £45,000 that pays in commission in the first instance £4,500 plus any other orders from that customer at our normal terms.

First quote work for us is always above £1000.00 under this amount is usually repair work to pre decorated surfaces.

Take the product of zolotone ( www.zolatone.com/02.htmlwhich ) is a high end decorative product that is between £200 - £300 for 5 gallon. We pay commission on the gross amount so there is no confusion of commission amounts its trying to keep it simple.

I have just received information from Agent Base there services cost which i am trying to avoid in the first instance, maybe next year :(

Please keep in touch with your own progress i would be intrested in your progress.
