Free Website Promotion

Hi, I would like to promote my website online.
The project has cost me loads more than I first thought.
Espotting is sending some traffic but not what I am after.
Overture is annoying me and I am a bit fed up with it.
I would like to add my web address to other sites and place it where people will actually visit it. As I said, i have already spent a lot on the website so I am looking for free listing of some description.

any ideas?

I think that you have a problem with your website that will affect anyone who uses Zone Alarm Pro as all of the pictures on the home page are blocked as Zone Alarm views them as popups and that means that the site doesn't look very nice at all.

There are ways around it but I am not a programmer so can't tell you what needs to be done. From memory it affects all graphics where the link says "open in new window"

Well, first of all you don't have Tie Warehouse (http://www.tiewarehouse.co.uk) listed there so there's no incentive for anyone to go to the site in the first place... ;)

Espotting, Overture and Google AdWords work very well if they're done properly, and there are plenty of affiliate sites like yours doing very well that are testament to that. You also need to optimise the site for natural listings as the current listings are pretty poor.

Have a look too at http://www.a4uforum.co.uk where you can chat with other affiliate site owners and get some ideas.

I will look into the adwords and Zone alarm. I had no idea it was doing that!
