Just wondering what the average cost is. Presuming I have a logo, and the details I want to go on, how much does it cost to get stickers printed and stuck on a van (I don’t want to go mad and plaster the whole thing).
Just a rough estimate will be fine; it’s just for start-up cost estimating.
cheers

I think people are gonna get fed up of me posting, so this is my last for the day (he says)... besides which me phone battery is dying, I am stuck in London without a charger...aaaaaaaaaah and generally being a bit of a cluster.
Oh yeah, there was a question I can help with.
Recently helped a company with a version of this and the fees went like this...
One 1 fully liveried taxi costs around £2500 (rough figure, but depends where you are based), one fully liveried van costs around £3000... but this depends on size, and I am saying this for a transit shaped van example. This is for full livery though. If you just want a small sign or graphic, I would expect to pay no more than a few hundred of the queens british pounds.
You can get it cheaper if you shop around and look for a deal with small livery companies, but sometimes you pay for what you get. If you look closely at cheap versions they are peeling off after a short while.
I recommend taxi's as an ad tool as the drivers always say, "only for 6 months or a year, guvnor" (they all alk like that) but when the year ends they rarely get a new livery on for a while so you get extra value for money.
Ho hum.

Andy, I think you must contribute more than any other member.
Are you using GPRS to connect? That cant be cheap.
Wheat you need is a USB charger.
those prices are a lot more than i estimated. Done a google search and looking at:
Sides: Two sides with company logo, name, company information, contact details and website address.
Rear: Company logo, name, company information, contact details and website address.
Bonnet: Company logo and name.
Small car/van livery from £165.00.
Medium van livery from £225.00.
This is just for the stickers, I will have t stick them on myself.

I have a good contact who makes signs of all types and sizes including van signage etc- prices seemed very reasonable to me and he's not pushy.
Give him a ring and tell him Graham Jenner gave you his details

How much would it cost to get a cabbie to take your stickers on the side of his cab???

Depends on your geographic region.
i.e. if London or another major city then quite expensive (there are agencies who handle this), if it is a smaller city or town, alot less.
For example, a taxi in Gloucestershire wold probably cost around £2500 per year (spoke to a cabbie about this a few months ago).
In London it is much more expensive and when we did a campaign in Birmingham last year we had 25 taxi's liveried for 3 months and it cost in the region of £1k per cab.
The good point is that you very often get the ad for longer than the contracted time as the cabbie's (unless they are signed up to an agency) don't remember to get the livery changed or cannot find another ad to put on.
I can get good national rates on these if you are ever interested.

Probably a good idea too if your logo and artwork is supplied in vector format... ;)
