I'm thinking of setting up an online printer consumables company selling mainly remanufactured toners and cartridges. Does anyone know of good manufacturers located in the UK that I can contact?

Thanks

I don't know of any manufacturers specifically, but Jettec do the cheap ink cartridges - that may be a place to start?

I would have thought there was too much competition already established in the remanufactured toner cartridge business. Have you actually investigated the market potential? When you've got big boys such as "Viking Direct" supplying then the only thing you can compete on is price. Not a good way to begin.

Hey,

I have set up a business selling remanufactured / toner cartridges but not online, I m thinking of a few ways and already have a few tricks up my sleeve. But beware, as the other guy said there is a lot of competition - like me for instance!!!!

Alot of ppl have been hurt using remanufactured cartridges. Emotionally hurt I mean. They some times leak or don't equal the original product. Businesses as I am finding out don't want to go back to saving money. You will need to provide excellent support.

But before you do that you need to find ppl willing enough to take a risk wth your products. One tip is you shouldn't be telling you is that try not to sell through the web - think of other ways.

To try and find suppliers look at what brands ppl are selling and try and get on the product companies website and contact them from there. Where exactly are you based just ot of interest? :D

Good Luck

This sort of thing is also very competitive on Ebay, but everyone needs ink!

I think there is still a market out there especially as ppl like Staples / Stationary Box Smiths charge a fortune.

BIG TIP: Target Students, Link up with shops, try newsagents.

Unless you buy 1000s and get them at mega ultra crazy out of this galaxy prices then you will HAVE to sell at a price know as EVEN CHEAPER than cheap as Ebayers want you to give it them at a loss to you. Plus take off ebay tax, pay pal tax and you're left with nothing.
