SEO SEO SEO
Adwords would maybe be worth a go for short term gains..but it depends on the conversions in your industry or you could just lose the £500....

A lot will depend on how much you can afford to pay to get a targeted visitor.
Adwords would maybe be worth a go for short term gains..
Why would it be "short term" gains?
Surely it's either profitable or it isn't?
And, if it is, you're left with more than your original £500...

I think by 'short term' Streetslocal means 'short lead time', Steve.

There are many ways you could create a targeted campaign for your site, it really depends on what you want to achieve. Is your aim to increase your client base? To generate more sales? To create a referal system to ensure the continued growh of your business?

If it's a site where pure traffic a lone is of major value I run a traffic campaign service which can boost your visitors. Campaigns are from 16.50 for 10,000 unique visitors and up. My site is at www.traffichead.net
Otherwise I guess you can invest in SEO, I've personally never found adwords very effective but each to their own.
What's your URL?

But this is untargetted traffic with short stay on site time which has no actual benefit whatsoever to the customer.
This schemes run everywhere but offer no beneft at all
Alot of these schemes are resellers or the buy your own business things of ebay.

No it's targeted traffic, which is of benefit to the customer if their site value is based on visitors per month, they can increase advertising costs and revenue from AdSense etc.. increases. That's why I said "If it's a site where pure traffic a lone is of major value I" and asked for his URL so I can gauge weather on of these campaigns might help.

So what you seem to imply is that you can use the service to artifically bump up traffic figures in order to sell advertising space etc?
I thought you called someone a scammer on another post:rolleyes:

How is it artificial? people still see the ads, thats how advertising works.. You've just decided you don't like me for some reason and have decided to follow me around making life difficult. Is it because I don't spell very well? Not trying to make you buy anything am I, and I didn't tell OP that a traffic campaign was definatly what he needed did I? I said it was an option. So tell me now what your problem is...

They are scams...
Auto surf sites have a rather short lifespan, existing from one week to a few years depending on the popularity and "investment plans" offered.
This happens because they cannot continue if no new customers are found. There are also a significant number of scams in this industry. Hundreds of programs offer very high percents and then disappear with the money. If one does decide to invest/advertise through auto surf programs, it is very important to diversify one's investments by joining more than one program at a time. It's usually recommended to invest amount of money proportional to the creditability of the program. It is safe to invest more into old and reliable programs that have already proven their long term intentions than new programs that make grandiose promises.
I would advise very strongly never touch an auto surf
