Hello,

My site, www.interactiveplus.co.uk, is a console games & software site based in the UK. It will be celebrating it's 1st birthday on December 1st 2004.

I would like to gain more brand exposure and increase sales. Could anyone recommend any practical tips and/or suggestions?

Any advice would be great!

Thanks in advance.

Jonathan

Discboy,

Hullo hullo.

Tried to have a look at your site but someone had stolen it and replaced it with a blank white screen and an annoying error message.

Tell me your still there... don't leave us this way.

The first link won't work as there is a comma at the end. Either remove the comma or click the link in his sig.

Jonathan,

Love the site, especially the t-shirts my fave, http://www.interactive-plus.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=115&products_id=628.

Have sent you a private E about this... I can help.

Have you tried using paid per click marketing as yet?

Try advertising on Google Adwords and Overture and perhaps it might help.

I would also recommend setting up an affiliate scheme depending on your profits etc.

At risk of upsetting one or two female forum members, to me a games and software site is a "boys thing" so you should target your PR and marketing at place where boys hang out ;-)

Try to find websites that COMPLEMENT your content and see if you can have your link included. Getting listed on as many directories as possible is also a good idea.

Gamer forums, gamer blogs and the like are the best websites that you need to be linked from. This will have a huge impact on the traffic from search engines.

Issue press releases, offer to linkback to webmasters, participate in related forums with your link on your signature. It is all very important.

Results won't improve the next day, but over a period of at least 2 months you will see good rewards for your effort.

Of course all this if your site is a true seller. Can't figure this out because I have no experience with such websites.
