Hi all, this Xmas when going to Dixons and Goldsmiths both shops offered to sell me extended warranties on my goods, one was a TV and one - rather worringly - was a gold necklace..
I turned down their offer but I know lots of people must take them up on it and it surely provides an extra revenue stream for these retailers.
Supposing I ran an online shop selling household appliances - which I know barely ever fail within 3 years - how would I go about offering extended 1 year and 3 year warranties at point of purcahse? I feel this would be a valuable additional revenue stream for my business while also offering additional peace of mind for my customers.
Thanks in advance.
