Can someone tell me the legal points i need to know if i were to import these goods. What about the chinese textile quota?

The main legal point you need to know is that the goods are probably fake!

why buy goods like that from China if we have UK suppliers and they don't sell fakes?

As the Consultant says, they are more than likely fake. If it were so easy to buy genuine articles from China at wholesale prices, then everybody would be at it.
At best, (if not fake,) then the goods are more than likely "over runs" from a production slot or cosmetic seconds which the factory are trying to dispose of. Bearing in mind that the factory is contractually forbidden to do this...I doubt that this is also the case and I would avoid like the plague. Even if you do get them into the UK, those nice men at Nike towers will probably have something to say about it:eek:

Beware of the copyrite infringement...Most goods like this are fake and you will end up with confiscated stock!
