i got a site nearly a month old so i new to this i am a young mum of five trying hard and looking for new ideas trying to find ways to promote site

Do you have an actual name? There are many excellent resources out there for learning about search engine optimisation. But in general take part in forums like this, include your websight link in your personal signature (see my sig). This will encourage people to have a look at your sight and also creates back links to your sight which search engines use in determining SERP's.

It is widly believed that building back links is one of the best ways to improve your SERP's. Read up on some of the many articles on this subject. I appreciate that this is just one starting point, I'm sure the other members of this forum will add to this.

i have been manually submitting the site and using some free programs(site submitters) and i getting some traffic which seems to be working because they using the search functions and reading the terms and conditions but no-one actually buys!dont understand why also i using google addwords ppc campaign so i getting customers i want to site then something frightens them away!20 people a day are looking but no orders any thoughts or suggestions greatly appreciated.sorry for not introducing myself properly my name is debbie
