Hi all
I am a professional accountant based in Tyneside, with a wide range of interests - and I hope to be able to build on these from the web site.
I am 54 years old, married with 2 children and a grand daughter.
I have a keen interest in rallying, and rally a Mk1 Ford Escort in the British Historic Championship - where we are leading class C2 at the moment. I also rebuild older cars, and have 2 Austin Healey 3000s, a Triumph Stag and a very quick MG Midget.
I practice as an accountant with 2 partners and 8 staff in North Shields, Tyne & Wear, and I am a shareholder and director of a Gibraltar based Insurance Co. In our accounting we take an interest in many aspects of business management, including of course the numbers, but also including marketing, personnel, administration, companies house compliance, taxation (of course), and many other areas.
I look forward to corresponding with you in due course

Hi John!
As the saying goes, you're only as old as (the woman) you feel ;) Seriously though, you don't sound as old as you imply being into rally an' all.

I love watching off road rally and keep threatening myself to have a few fun days at it. My joy is the SuperBikes and my cousin trials at amateur level, but I come from a long line of mechanically minded soles after my father rebuilt varies cars including an MG BGT along with an old Jag that I have no idea what model it was. His latest toy though is a bike, an old BSA.

Anyway, welcome onboard and enjoy your stay!
