Just wondering if anyone has noticed any effect on today's sales with the news this morning that today may be the last day for posting due to Royal Mail strikes.

Next year could be a bad year for the Royal mail expect lots of strikes, it's a big rationalisation year.

Well its been a little quiet today compared to yesterday, could pick up later though.
talking of Royal Mail, anyone using their franking service? where you print the postage yourself and get invoiced every 30 days.can't decide whether to go for this or not

Blush, you might be better off starting a new thread. I'm on packetpost and get invoiced every 30 days or so, it varies every month, I pay by direct debit. Quite good from a cashflow point of view. Are you talking about smartstamp?

I had lost two parcels by royal mail months ago. I'd select DHL OR Fedex though they are somewhat expensive but fast..

 2 parcels lost! You lucky swine!
I've had close to 45 go missing this year. And now Royal Mail are going to alter the claims process so yuo can only claim back the wholesale / cost price of the goods rather than the sale price.
