Marissa Mayer from Google commented that Google in future could use SearchWiki data to make "obvious"changes in Search Engine Rankings. This may throw open an avenue for exploitation and in the long term maybe kill SEO. What is your take on it?

This is the wisdom of crowds method, and in reality, crowds have no wisdom, as people will look to whatever others are looking at. Put a crowd around a dog turd and others will come to find out what's so special.
This takes control right out of Google's hands, and dare I say it, because I can't prove it, but if the next quarters results look a little low, they won't be able to "tweak" the results. (And yes I honestly believe this, as Google is by far the best Shopping Search Engine)
