Hi

Introduced a javascript to show on my webpage the search term used to get to that page and it highlights the keywords.

I can't decide whether it useful or annoying :?

click here to see it (http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&q=mobile%20phone%20deals%20orange) find the link with ukshopsnet.com/1mobile.html on this google page and click into my site. Then please tell me if you think it is useful or a waste of time

Cheers
Phil

Hmm, not sure. Probably better without I would've thought, as all the search results should be relevant. It's not like they're looking for that search term in a long article on the page, it's actually the results of their search.

I think it could put people off.

I log search terms used to get to my websites in a database and link them against the orders received for my own marketing analysis, so I appreciate the importance of monitoring this information. However, I think some less technically minded web users would feel their privacy is being violated with that information being monitored.

Plus javascript tends to make my computer hang quite badly (not to mention those that surf with js turned off)
