I've had several people enter my shop today trying to earn some extra money for Christmas. I've had a man trying to sell me bank note forgery detector pens (with a great sales line of people will be chopping up their credit cards after Christmas so there will be a lot more cash about!), a man selling Christmas opening hours signs and posters to wish your customers a merry Christmas and a very old little lady selling well thumbed secondhand glossy magazines (bless!)
I don't usually respond well to salespeople with no appointment but have to say I did admire these three for their enterprise especially the little old lady who looks well over 90 years old. I wonder where she gets her stock from though (the paper recyling bins out on the pavements maybe?)
