Hi,
Can anyone provide a bit of info regarding to using Worldpay. I would like to use worldpay to take cards over the net from different websites which I'll be running but all funds will be paid to one business account. When I fill in form it asks for web address but this doesn't apply to me because I'll be using my Worldpay account with different websites. Plus telephone number and addresses will be different too.
Does anyone here use Worldpay for more than one websites in one account?
Many thanks in advance

I used to and it wasn't too much of a problem, but you may want to chat to Worldpay about the best way of doing it. It also depends on your shopping cart and how that passes information to Worldpay - I'm thinking mainly of the product description and company name that appears on customers' receipts and credit card statements.

You can have different "cart installations" under one Worldpay account, so its not a problem at all.
For example I use the same Worldpay account for the following 3 webs;
http://www.quickformations.com/
http://www.quickformations.com/catalog/
http://www.1stformations.com/
All three separate "shops" in escence but all under the same Worldpay account, plus I'm launching a 4th website in a couple of weeks again using the same Worldpay account.
Just ask for an additional Cart ID for each website, the you configure tham individually through your admin panel with them.

Hi,
For internet businesses, it is recommended that you get the business account for obvious reasons. You can get more information from www(dot)merchantacquring(dot)co(dot)uk.

It's wierd they let you have one for many. For me they made me have a new account. They did not charge for it but the hassle was there all the same.

I had two different websites with them no problem.
If you can though, please consider another provider.
worldpay are a nightmare to deal with. I have just left them after 2 years.

Hi,
One thing also to bear in mind when searching down a PSP is the amount of time it takes for the funds to be released - as far as I know it's 4 weeks with Worldpay, and also the fact they can ask for a hefty reserve depending on what you are selling - it's probably worth finding these out before you apply so you know what the score is before paying setup fees etc.

this is only if they are your merchant account also.
I use worldpay for two sites, but their are not my merchant accoutn so transfer takes2-4 days usually.
Both sites must satisfy their terms and conditions also.
