Hi all,
So... we have just built what is currently one of the only online mobile greetings card delivery systems for the UK market (www.lightningcards.co.uk) - anyone can easily deliver fun, animated greetings cards with music to any MMS enabled moble phone for £2... cheaper than many shop purchased cards and instantly to someones pocket. High impact, personal and unlike anything else currently available.
I have also done my best to cobble together 180 example cards - I am no artist - but you will see that some have potential and we will constantly improve the designs as we grow.
We are selling about 30 per day right now, but only properly launched 2 days ago and just pushing out initial launch press releases.
I think the product has immediate mass appeal - and am on the hunt for good online advertising and web marketing experts from UKBF members to help push the product to a wide audience and share any success with you as we grow. So, where to start? :)
Also looking for designers for the cards. Its a simple animated GIF file < 80k. We could set up a revenue share and pay the designer £1 for each of their cards purchased by the public (maybe automatically into your paypal account - live).... would have to be mindful of copyrighted material so they must be fun, creative and wholly your original work! There are infinite possibilities for the card designs - from events in the media to popular culture, get well soon messages, some flowers from a secret admirer, wishing good luck for exams - and especially now at christmas we are looking out for santas and snowmen up to their seasonal antics.... how about we pay the designer £1 for every card sold - would that be fair?
Would that mechanism work...and if so what would be the best method to spread the word? How would we get the public to the website?
So.. I'm looking for advertising people, web marketing and SEO experts, and artists who can create jawdropping animated GIFs and greetings cards in under < 80k.
Any takers out there?
Cheers,
A.
