HI

I need a package to do 5 personal tax returns, 1 partnership and one ltd company. I have previously used Tax Calc which although very good and easy to use seems to have taken a bit of price hike this last couple of years.

Last year I used F-tax and would rather put my head through a mincer than use that again.

Does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations?

Many thanks
Sandra

My personal favourite is PTP - its very easy to use professional software.

I think your biggest problem will be cost, which I guess is why you went for Ftax.

Most of the software that is the 'next step' up from something like Ftax is just so much more expensive.

I think PTP charge a minimum of £115 for each the tax packages and you would need 3 ie personal tax, partnership and company to do your tax returns.

You could have a go doing the personal returns using HMRC's software - it probably wouldnt be too bad for just 5 returns but you cant use this for the other returns.

You could try QMS - their website is SA2000.co.uk. Last time I looked you could pay one return at a time.
