Over the past few years we have been seing an increasing demand from new and growing small business for integrated communications solutions from a single source and have started a rapidly growing business to address this.

We are a franchised business, so have local presence with national support and backing.

As a single supplier for all communications requirements we help businesses to simplify Information and Communication Technology (ICT) by removing the need to manage multiple suppliers and by ensuring that all the systems and technologies work together.

Working with one supplier for all communications requirements has many advantages:

• Cures IT and Communications headaches
• Reduces multiple contracts and bills
• Single point of contact for support and problem resolution
• Integration of all communications tools

Most businesses use a number of communications technologies, for example data networks, telephone systems, Internet, mobile, landline, laptops and PDA’s. While many benefits are derived from using each technology individually, the real benefits are only realised when they are integrated so they all work together. The following are some of the benefits of an integrated environment:

• Increased mobility
• Access to information anytime, anyplace, anywhere
• Reduced costs
• Improved levels of customer service
• Increased productivity
• Greater return on investment in technology

I think that many of the better established SMBs (and certainly the larger ones) are keen on a cost effective, reliable and good quality service in this area. There is often concern about a lack of flexibilty and responsiveness though.

At the smaller and newer end of the SMB market, I think there is less interest partly because it is not usually a big issue in the early days and their is a perceived need to [overwork] keep a handle on everything and manage all overhead costs very carefully. It takes a while to get the business proposition running well and to be more concened about focusing on core capabilities.
