Hi Guys

I know it may be difficult to answer this in one go,but i'm wondering how the charges for advertising on a website are worked out.

Obviously the charges are dependant on amount of hits the site gets, size of advert and placement etc, but does anyone have ball park figures??

Hi

We get asked this one a lot.

But as you have already mentioned it comes down to unique user, if you have a membership program and if so what sort of demographics do you have.

In terms of price you either go for a fixed price or one based on an ad system when you charge for xxxx amount of impressions.

Make sure you have some sort of ad system in place so customers can log in and see their ad stats if you are charging a reasonable amount.

We have charge people anywhere from £150 per month to £600. It really depends on the site traffic and quality of users.

Thanks for that. Any idea on the hits a site would take to generate £150 - £600 per month??
