View Full Version : WorldPay Deleted Transaction Capture Failed Problems

Hello everyone,

I have been having problems with WorldPay. :( I am new to E-commerce. So if anyone can help me, I greatly appreciate.

4 out of 100 transactions were failed to capture (deleted transaction) due to credit card not set up. WorldPay never informed me about this until I contacted them for the delayed settlment. 2 Transactions were processed 4 month ago and now I am told to contact the shopper to rearrenge alternative payment methods.

The orders were shipped because the status was "CAPTURED" It was my fault to ship the order before the paymet settled into my account but I still think that WorldPay is responsible for the capture failed transactions.


WorldPay failed to capture total $540 USD. I am frustrated by all of this. These cause potential loss and extra effort, time and cost to collect money. I kinda doubt using WorldPay if they cannot protect me for these incidents. They even said this is MY responsibility to collect payments...


Is this common thing happening to the merchants using WorldPay? :| Delaying shipment until settlement (3~ 8 days) sometimes does not meet my business ethics. How do you guys deal with this?

Use Protx. Worldpay changed to a new system some months ago now and just search Google or this forum for threads on numerous problems merchants have with their new system.
