irritating and off putting.
You need to concentrate on your products not some indistinguishable piece of badly built juddering flash.

my eyes were constantly drawn to the header but not because of anything good.

You've got some great products and a fairly decent website (code needs some serious work) - It just needs a bit of polish.

I agree with the tohers the top flash bar is rubbish, its not quick enough, it doesn't put over anything interesting, it doesn't offer branding and it pulls you away from the main content.

I think the site is a little plain, you have really really nice products and I don't think you show them off well enough, its a bit like a template job to see if the web is the future.

I think your site should feel like the chelsea flower show and instead it feels like a pebble dashed council house.

I cannot understand why the size has an 800 width, your links are at the wrong side IMO, I think they should be shown off and not hide in the corner. I don't get the links page. Not all your items have buy it now buttons, I don't like the way the buttons then take you away from the site and it miles away looks wise to yours, it doesn't allow me to continue shopping without leaving the site. your larger pictures are very low quality, and the site is built in tables and it shouldn't be.

This is only feedback nothing more :-p

hi thanks for the feed back ,the buttons are from google checkout they are a set size as its not an e comerse site really ,but some people like the buy now option .
i will need to look at the the flash thing as its clearly not that populer I think the page link buttons need to all be the same side ,and the images do need to be of a higher res.
not sure what you mean about tables though totally sport ,thanks for the imput so far

The html which is used by the browser has used tables for the layout design which once upon a time was the done thing, but it is not out dated and you should be using div tags and CSS, if you right click on the right and click view sources you should see the source code and all the tables, the code is long winded because of old fashioned html used, no new site which is paid for should use tables for layout, unless it is free.

You have some really nice furniture designs there Chris.

I agree with what has been said about the flash movie, but what I do like about the movie is the closeups of your products. You can see the grain and almost feel the texture of the wood, which can't be said for your main photos.

I would use less compression on the photos which will make the colours more vibrant and image more detailed. Then I would include a couple of big close-ups of parts of each product to make it look more arty.

Background colour is a bit dreary.

If you go for larger image sizes it may be worth having less products per page, which may also enable you to optimise for a tighter keyword set, if that is important.
