Hi After spending all evening on looking for flights for a family holiday I found some through edreams very cheap, I filled all the details gave my credit card read the agreement and complete the whole process i received my confirmation number and email. this morning I received an email saying that because of a system error they will not be issuing my tickets. do they need to honour our contract? is this false advertising of flight sales? they said the website was in error but i rechecked the price and it was the same and i also checked other flights on the website before i purchased.
Thanks Pj

If the price is the same when you recheck why not just rebook?

I am in the trade and the problem will have been the feed to the operator failed so the agent would need to book them manually. Normally we would have just automatically rebooked with no inconvenience to the customer so it would suggest a continuing error

Not sure what the legal stance is on this but if they have taken payment, then surely that constitutes acceptance of an offer and so a legal contract is borne?
Have you tried calling them with your problem?

If you read the T&C on the edreams website they make it quite clear that you accept that the services offered are based on the suppliers information and if it all goes pear shaped then it's not their fault.
It looks like in between doing your research and actually buying the tickets, the price went up (probalby because all the cheap tickets had gone).
Best deal you are going to get is your money back.

If the money is out of your bank and the flight is no longer available they do not have to honour. Normally agents will just refund. They will not sell at the lower price as the agency will be making a loss - I can guarantee you that
