Hi All
I'm in the process of starting up a business on-line. To date, I have bought the domain name, been to a couple of trade shows and sought advice from the chamber of commerce - the latter was not helpful in the least.
What i would like help with is the following
1. I'm thinking of setting the business up as a sole-trader initially and changing at a later if necessary. Do i have to register this with anyone, from my understanding i dont need to do this with companies house, like you would with a ltd company - is this correct? I know you can register with them, does this make a difference, will this help my business in anyway ?
2. I'm in the process of producing some very 'draft' like images of what i would like my website to look like. I dont like the idea of templates and would like a 'professional' company to help with design - costs look approx £5k - does this seem reasonable, and any recommendations would be great.
3. I'm also looking at designing my businesscards, letterheads, etc - i'm thinking of putting the name, telephone numbers and the web address but not my address details - will this put potential customers off? Should i put my address?
Any advice would be gratefully received.
