I am currently having my BT broadband talk VOIP number ported (transfered) to a different VOIP supplier.
The request was put in and a check made and it was accepted and advised the switch over would take place on Friday 12th Sept.
This didn't happen due to issues with BT.
The weekend came and went and on Monday I was advised that BT were still having issues. If you rang my number, it rang once then you got a disconnected tone.
It is now Thursday 18th September and my number is still not connected.
I could have potentially lost £1000's of pounds of business because my phone line isn't working, although it would be impossible to know. To make matters worse, I had just sent out a load of mail shots!
I appreciate that its not VOIP company's fault but BT's but my contract is with the VOIP company.
Is there anything I can do?
Many Thanks.
