What are the rules regarding CCTV in the work place. We have a number of CCTV cameras at our factory which are in clear view and there are signs around the building informing people that there is CCTV on the site. There are three cameras on the outside of the building and one in the workshop. The primary reason for having the CCTV is due to a high number of burglaries we had a few years back. Some employees after having the cameras installed for over four years are now claiming that it infringes their rights. What is the legal stand point on CCTV?
