Hi all.
I ordered some embriodered workwear, and paid for it up front.
It turned up 5 weeks later, and the quailty of my logo is shocking. Noone from the company ever contacted me about any changes they had to make for embroidery purposes.
I phone to register my complaint, to be told it would have to goto their MD to sort it out.
I phone every other day, asking for him, and once actually spoke to him, and he said leave it to him, he would discuss it with his designer.
No calls back. He is definatley ignorning my calls.
I am losing my rag now, and I know I can state the 'Sale of Goods' act to them/him, but stating something, and following it through is a different thing.
Where do I go if he refuses to refund me, if I actually get a response from him.
Or what do I do if I never hear from him. Shouting at the poor sales girls will not get me anywhere.

Thanks in advance for any response

Mat

How did you pay for it? If by credit card, you can claim your money back from the credit card company for shoddy goods.
Other than that, your only option = make a claim for your money back through the courts if you have no joy from the business itself. Hopefully, a strongly written pre-action letter would be enough to make them see sense and refund you.
