fairly new user to the forum looking for contacts to help with my portfolio :redface: and any contacts in the special events / party planning industry .....

also feedback would be great and from my website sure you can tell that this was all done on my own ...... trying to change the website slightly though to make it less formal on the index page :)

The colours on the site great but the graphics far too large and most people these days like to see all the index page where a lot of yours buried beneath the task bar.

As regards you business model. I would look hard at your market again. I can't see an exceutive responsible for arranging corporate entertainment hiring a company that seems all hen parties and strippers and that is the only endorsement you have.

A little way to go then before you get there but hey. I am nearly 3 weeks being in launching my web site. Best of luck Rob

Shell. Forgot to mention. A friend of mine use to do a lot of catering for functions at the London Dungeon. We with one night and met the lady manager of the place who seemed very nice and had an awful ot of contacts with businesses in the City and West End. Web design is one thing here and many have jumped the boat to tell you this but when choosing a web designer, please please please ensure that you consider the marketing side to the project.

If you use somebody who knows marketing properly then you can increase your profits by 50%, 200% even 500% - there is so much business out there, but my advice is to choose somebody know really does know their stuff.

If you have already chosen somebody then good luck, although I have a friend of a friend who is very good at this kind of work and I do not doubt their will add a lot of value to your business. If you want to get in touch with them, send me a PM.
