Hi people my name is Nathan and I am in the progress of setting up a new company, and would just like some feedback from people. Do you think there should be an easier way for entrepreneurs to connect with possible investors/ business mentors or other entrepreneurs? and if so how much will you be willing to pay for this service on an annual or quarterly basis.

Hi Nathan,

Is that already on offer through agencies and various consulting bodies?

How much would charge and would the fee be paid if you didn't deliver?

Hi Noobaloo

Just sending this message in reply to your question. there are organisations out there that offer similar services but the key difference is that the website will allow a more interactive service especially with investors. currently the services available allows an entrepreneur to upload a business plan and basically just waite for a reply from any interested parties. with my service entrepreneurs can search for Investors and mentors based on location and expertise and pitch online via video conferencing and have regular online business meetings. entrepreneurs can also recieve mentoring online, creating a more social market place for business people. the service will be price at £80 annually. I hope this has answered your question.

I think your idea is a good one. Existing schemes often involve people who've never run a small business in their lives and there's no accountability; entrepreneurs could be given rotten advice that will run them into the ground and they don't know it. Wouldn't it be great if a company existed that could:

- Match entrepreneurs to people who've worked in their industry and have a record of success.

- Offer some type of guarantee that the advice given is good (for example, have other mentors confirm the advice given by each individual mentor).

- Seek payment in the form of equity instead of cash. Entrepreneurs would love a service that requires no cash payment; plus, everyone's interests are aligned because the mentors generate more revenue when the companies become successful.

Thanks steve for your comment. They were my exact sentiments also, to offer equity share in exchange for mentorship and on a sucess basis. Although the participating members would have to negotiate and agree to their own terms, but the membership fee of £80 for the year would have to be paid by all members in order to use the facilities the website offers. I do not think this is a high price to pay for a years membership especially when it comes to starting off correctly in business.

Nope a very reasonable fee and looks like you are taking things further than any other offerings. The only one I know and have used is company partners which puts investors and entrepreneurs together.
