Hi all, :)
We have just introduced a wide range of wood burning stoves and multi fuel stoves to our list of products at By The Fireside, both online and in our showroom - there is a link to our website in my signature - i.e. the Limestone Fireplaces link - our stoves page can be found at: http://www.btf1.co.uk/stoves.htm where you can read a little introductory information about stoves, if information is all you are after.
It's well worth thinking about stoves, as either a primary or a secondary heating source, especially with today's home heating costs. Many of the models come with optional boilers, which means that you can either heat your hot water or power a number of radiators and in some cases, you can achieve both.
A heating tip for people who have a gas central heating and are thinking...
Heating costs tend to rise in the winter and drop in the summer - this means you could probably use your gas in the summer (it is warmer so you use less heating power) and stock up on wood where you can get cheap deals; then you could use that wood in the winter to heat your home and hot water and cut down the need for gas central heating - as a bonus, you could even heat a kettle on your stove, thus cutting down your electricity usage...
How many cups of tea do you have in the winter eh? I have lots!
Anyway,
Take care and stay warm!
Buck ;)
