hi

I am starting a website (well just about to launch) that has a wide selection of swiss watches at discount!

Our problem is that at the moment we are using paypal as a payment service !

But we dont really want to use them as they arent regualted by the FSA and ít takes 5 working days to touch your money as wellas they can freeze it !

Since we will be dealing in transactions of between £300 - £5000 (less towards the upper end)

We need a payment service that would be beffiting us and have more than beniffical protection & screening agnist fraud !

We will also have buyers purchasing from europe etc

If we are taking high value sums let say 5 - 10 grand is it safe to use these payment syatems or should we get them to tranfer in to our buiness bank account!

also we will be wanting to wire money to our suppliers overseas in switzerland & USA!

thanks inadvance for your time !

If anyone is intrested in swiss watches Pm me so i can let you know when we go live!

WorldPay is probably the best-known payment system, and very suitable for higher value transactions, but AIUI it is also one of the most expensive.

Given the type of product you are selling, you could be a target for fraud, so it would also be worth looking at a third-party fraud prevention system like The 3rd Man.
