Hi,
I have been using the Transx.co.uk virtual terminal to take credit card payments whilst waiting for the go ahead with my merchant account. I had a problem with a few transactions so called them to establish why.
The problem is that when I called the customer support number I could not get an answer. I waited on hold for 40 minutes but still did not get through.
Obviously I am now very worried as they have over £3k of payments from me?
Has anybody had a similar experience?
Best regards
Chris

it's a registered company so I wouldn't be worried about your money, in case of these companies that have only one person picking up the phone it's best to drop them an email and keep on spamming them until they call/email you back.
Good luck,

I have had this problem.
Excellent idea but customer service can be hopeless really!
But dont worry you will get paid as they pay me ok even though i have the same problems.

Thanks for the quick reply. I appreciate it. They are offering quite a unique service which I am happy to use but its annoying that they dont answer the phone. I have 2 payments I need to take but are being declined due to SECURITYCODEMATCH/POSTCODE. I have triple checked with the customers but for some reason they wont go through!
Anyway thanks again for your reasurance. Hopefully I will get to speak to someone soon.
Regards
Chris

Hi People,
Can you give me any info on this transfx.co.uk? Are they reliable for accepting website payments from UK customers? How about the customer service?
Ive noticed amonst many other businesses recently our internet merchant account NOCHEX have without warning or valid reason put our account on hold.
We own a family business online and we ALL depend on it. Nochex requested some information which we immediately gave them and since then they have not contacted us once, its been almost two weeks, we have a large amount of funds in nochex which they will not let us access, we have customers waiting for their orders which we cant process because cant get into our account.
The most annoying part is that our business has never changed since we opended our account, when opening our account they verified everything and were perfectly happy, and then now they suddenly freeze our business merchant account without warning.
Ive been reading on the internet and noticed so many businesses who have recently had their nochex merchant accounts closed without a legal reason.
I dont think nochex realise they could be liable for hundreds of thousands of pounds if they illegally keep closing business merchant accounts due to business damages that they have caused.
They have no legal or moral right and i cant believe after looking online how many companies they have done this too recently.
Ive been gathering information from other companies who have their nochex accounts recently frozen and not yet re-opended and we are trying to group together to take our claims to court against nochex for business damages. One of the companies i came across had their account froze two weeks ago and they do about 8000 pounds a week in transactions so nochex has already cost them 16,000 and their account is still re-activated.
Anyway looking forward to hearing about a better merchant such as transx?
